Does anyone know how to test the FSR for the interior fan? Like with a multimeter?
Here's why:
My 330d's fan stopped blowing. It has the digital control panel below the radio. Checked fuse ok, did some Googling and decided it was FSR.
Bought a new FSR, still not working. So I assumed it was a bad part and exchanged it, but the new one doesn't work either.
I get no fan on any blower setting
I get no fan when running actuator tests in diagnostics
I get full fan when shorting the spikes of the FSR to the steering column, which proves fuse, wires and motor are ok.
To me this says bad FSR, but could I really have 2 out of box failures?
