Hello fanatics,
I took my car to a aircon place today. Lo and behold the gas is full. Upon further inspection it was found that the Climate Compressor belt had snapped and wrapped itself around the engine belt pulley, in the processes fraying the engine belt. Both need to be replaced.
Do any of you have any experience in using BMW Original VS 3rd party (continental etc) belts? In my mind a belt is a belt, and continental surely can't be a bad buy. BMW charges R778 incl. for both.
Any advice would be appreciated.
