From the time I’ve spent on the forum I know there are quite a few DIY carwash fanatics.
Sunday is carwash day for me. I normally wait until after 4pm, and then I tackle my car inside and out!
I would encourage members to share their experiences/pictures and maybe give some tips & tricks on methods used?
I find washing my car to be quite therapeutic and relaxing. It gives me time to meticulously clean my car, and I get satisfaction from the result. I have realized that since I started washing my own car I give more attention to detail in other tasks, it has made me somewhat of a perfectionist.
Pro’s
Driving to work on a Monday morning in a clean car.
Cons:
I hate cleaning wheels!
Seeing scratches and bumps where the previous owner neglected the car.
Top Tip:
Emptying the vacuum cleaner filter before I start makes a huge difference in the sucking power, plus you don’t get any unwanted dust particles in the car.
