This car is really something special.I love technology. Thumbs
Ifelt when still running the car in a bit there were big numbers that would come out and i was not wrong.Remember you have in total 265kw and 610nm of torque.Remember you have the battery pack of 50kg sitting on the rear axle so traction is great. The torque and traction slingshots you off the line and this car has moved to number one spot on the datalog files taking the crown from the M5 V10. Thumbs

Remember this log is at 1505mts above sealevel so the combustion motor is affected but the electric motor not.I can only imagine this animal down at sealevel!!

60ft..........2.01sec..........44km/h
1/8mile.....8.38sec.........140km/h
1/4mile....13.01sec........176km/h
800mts..........215km/h
1km.........23.4sec.........228km/h
0-100km/h..........5.28sec
0-160km/h.........11.3sec
0-200km/h.........17.2sec
100-200km/h......11.7sec

There are other advantages as well. The electric motor also acts as a brake the second you touch the brake. This means you now have a double brake system and i doubt if these cars will ever have that dreaded brake squeal.
This braking is phenomenal. The track is 1,5km in total.I was able to get the car to cut out topspeed on this track and still brake.
Speedo is a bit optimistic registering 260 but data equipment gave 248.Based on this i think the import cars probably are set up differently.

Well done BMW a remarkable achievement. ThumbsThumbsThumbs
