Ok so back to back I have spent time logging & modding an E92 335i N55 & an M135i.
I fitted a Cobb to the 335 & flashed it on the dyno. The car had ZERO mods on these runs & pump fuel.
I have videos of the before & after runs. So the gain with s/w on on the N55 335i was:
26 HP & 106 NM on the wheels. Boost went from around 11 psi peak to around 14.4 psi peak.
Then we did an M135, we fitted JB Stage 2, Downpipe & full exhaust:
Power gain was 46.5 hp & 131NM on the wheels. The exhaust makes about 10hp & the downpipe also makes around 15hp. So without the hardware I estimate the gains with the JB stage 2 will be around 20hp & 110NM. The peak boost with the JB was 16.5 psi.
