So, after a little over a year's worth of driving my E90,I began to lust after something with a little more power. In a fit of impulsiveness, I went out looking for an E63 M6 (a rare find in CT). After little searching, I found a very clean 2007 with 80k km's on the clock, immaculate interior, full history with BMW. After a test drive and establishing it was equipped with a Shnitzer exhaust,I took the plunge and decided to make the swap from my beloved E90 M3 to the M6.
All I can say is that my first impressions of the M6 are mind blowing. The sound that comes from the NA V10, and the amount of car that I am paying for,I could think of little on the market to match it in that price range (I paid pretty much the same for my M3 as I am for the M6 with pretty much the same mileage on it). The sound of the V10 is indescribable, the luxury and finish in the cabin is first class, and the brute force of that engine is something to behold. Funny though, the previous owner of my M3 also traded up for an M6.
Tough as it has been to say goodbye to my utterly brilliant M3,the temptation for the V10 was just too much, and although it has been with a heavy heart that I have moved on,I am very much looking forward to the next chapter with the M6. Spec list of the M6 below (obviously there are optional extras like speedo with km reading....)
