Hi Guys
My personality dictates perfection and what makes it worse is that I seem to have a good eye and feel in picking up imperfections.
What I need is advice, on balancing please . I drove my car for a year without any issues, then took the car to the following places in order to get the annoying shudder rectified.
Autoquip
Hi Q
Autoquip again
BMW sandton
BMW glen
BMW glen finally fixed the shudder.
A year later ........... the same issue with a shudder. BMW glen could not fix but autoquip did.
Now 4 years later after fitting new rims and tyres today! I have the problem again. I do not want to jump from person to person begging to please fix a slight shudder that most people don't even notice.
I need advice on the following:
1- Which is the best machine and why?
2- Are there different types of balancing weights, metal types?
3- Were should these weights be positioned, outta , middle or inner of the rim?
4- Which tyre fitment centre understands balancing and gets it right the first time around?
