Need some help and advice
So one of the ladies here at work has the above mentioned X3. Sunroof got damaged, and was send by the Insurance for repairs at Jocks.
When she went to collect it, all warning lights was on, and it sounded like water rushing in the car, when turning on the test drive. She left it. Two weeks after what should have been a two day job, car is not back. Insurance found that car was valet by Jocks, and the water damage is their fault.
Now this is where the problem comes in, 2 computer boxes + harness and one amp must be replaced. BMW refuse to work on the car, as Jocks messed it up, when looking for the faults, stripped too much.
Insurance send the car to a BMW specialist for diagnostics, and gave her the option, they can approve repairs on the car or write it off. She on one hand wants to repair it, as it was a bday present from her hubby, but on the other hand, she is scared it will give her problems in future.
