Hi guys, my girlfriend has just bought herself a new car and is stuck between choosing which one to take.
She has 2 options that were the cheapest at R2000pm
1. STANDARD BANK:
They have quoted her R2000pm and it includes:
* Road-side assistance (24/7/365)
* Home-assistance (emergency household problems like geysers, burst pipes etc)
* Road Cover (assist in claims from RAF in the event of an accident)
*10% cash back for three consecutive claim-free years.
* No excess fee
* Get a new car if your vehicle is lost/stolen within 12 months of registration.
2. First For Women:
They also quoted her R2000pm and it includes:
* The towing and storage of your vehicle if it is involved in an accident - provided that you always use the 1st for Women towline to tow your car.
* Medical costs of up to R500 in the event of an accident.
* Your vehicle’s canopy and its sound system are covered against theft and damage provided that you insurance schedule states that you are paying for this cover.
* You get a hired car in the event of breakdown or car theft
* Hail damage cover
* hand-bag cover
* Road-side assistance 24/7/365
* Household contents insured
* Excess of R4000
I might have forgotten other benefits but this is mainly what I can remember.
Please advise as to which cover she should take as i'm also not sure because the huge difference here is the excess from First for Women but the cover more things than Standard.
Thanks guys
