We are pleased to announce a brand new approach to running the affairs of the forum.
The approach is to ensure a more streamlined and effective communication strategy. To prevent unnecessary delays in responding to situations/queries/spam etc. The structure is also more inclusive and representative of the broad forum community & its members. Some elements of the communication structure was compared with international forum benchmarks and the appropriate elements were chosen.
Lastly, the strategy combines experience, youth, fresh moderator input and some out of the box thinking - driven by a need to (empower) moderators.
MODERATORS:
Our moderators are the backbone of the forum. We need them to run the forum. The new structure empowers them to make decisions. It is not the role of the administrators to run the forum. It is the job of moderators - this is in line with international social forum standards. Our mods will be the face of the forum & we must give them all our support. The structure enables growth in tasks and responsibilities where mods can become supermods and administrators etc.
