st Time Bmw Owner - Bmw's are so complex

Hi guys, like I said i am new to Bmw's in general and I have found out they are a lot more complex then my Fortuner, for instance just the Keys, you can't just put in a new Battery you need new one's cut and programmed and they charge in the ignition...... So I have some questions around the X3

What is the Actual fuel consumption of the X3 Urban / Combined /Open road
Will the Cats and DPF be congested after 98000KM
is it worth it to remove(Cats/ DPF) what are the pro's and cons
The X-drive system how can i check for failures / have it serviced perhaps at ZF (R2000)
Software updates - Bmw is full of stories I just want to make sure i have the newest software for my Tranny and Ecu sorted
Where is proper BMW technician in PTA / or a good Dealer that takes pride in their work
Who is a reputable Tuner maybe to remap the Ecu and do the downpipe and exhuast - will this give me better consumption? Can the mapping be set not for just more power but fuel effeciency as well?
What Tyres / Brands are approved by BMW
What Tyres can I fit for a bigger sidewall / More ground clearance ( i do a lot of gravel travel) . I currenlty have 18" narrow and wide. so maybe 17" but what size dimensions - NOT to mess up the X-drive system

These are just some of my questions - there is currently 80000 members with knowledge please share it with me cause currenlty i have a lot questions and Dealers just want money to sort me out there must be a better way i believe. thanks guys for any info you can give me
