Anyone watched the cricket yesterday?
I'm really disappointed at the captaincy calls at yesterdays rain affected game, reduced to 7overs a side.
1. Amla to open? I know he is one of our best batsmen, but he isn't a hitter, more of a crafty stroker and finding the gaps batter. All of 7 overs is a waste of time for him.
2. With only 7 overs to bat, all the hitters should have been lined up.
3. The new bowler Hendriks playing his first game goes for a lot of runs in his first over, but yet Faf gives him another over!
4. Either Duminy or Abbot should have bowled the final or penultimate over? not Parnell as with him bowling at over 145km/h
any contact or hit was sure to travel quickly to the boundary.
We always come out as losers in these tight situations.
