What is the cost and time to fix a minor rear end

so this afternoon on the way home from the shop, I am waiting to enter the traffic flow into C R Swart from Kelvin str in Kempton, when I hear massive brakes and locked wheels, screaming, followed by (what felt like a massive) Impact.

So there we have it, 49 1/2 years accident free history now stuffed, and it wasn't even my fault.

The damage doesn't "look" major, but I am sure it will still cost a bit to repair.

1)What is the procedure to follow now, we got the traffic police to take our statements etc, and they say report and case number will be ready in 2 days time.
2)What is the cost going to be...approx
3)What is the downtime without my "daily drive" going to be
4)Do I get a stby vehicle if the downtime is excessive (2-3 days)

I am feeling a bit hurt that my "baby" had to get some trauma on her
