Busy replacing eberything on my car to get it showroom condition. Its the little things that count. So here is a blank key that I ordered off BidorBuy for R150.

I then had the key cut at Drivesure in Brackenfell for R150. Thats the price the ownet quoted me over emails. Apparently the ask in the region of R450 so I scored.

Here are the old and new next to each other.

To swop the internals, turn the key face down amd lift the cover off with your nail.

Use the screwdriver to lift the contents out to swop into the new key.

Refit everything and you should have your new key.

There is a diy on youtube for the key fob. Not sure if its necessary for this key.
