I hope that most BMW owners know this, but just to mention it again to help others. Friends please note that when you buy parts from BMW, you also pay for the BMW roundel on the package, sometimes a lot.
Just a small example of this: I bought lower control arm bushes for my E30 from BMW at R300.00 a piece, because at that time I thought BMW was the only place that stocked them, about a year later when I had to replace them on the other E30, I asked the spares shop if they had them, yes they did at R80.00 a piece! Example no. 2: fuel injector o-rings from BMW quoted me R30.00 a piece x 12 = R360.00, I got them from Bearing Man for R3.00 a piece! Wheel bearings same story: R1000.00 + at BMW, R400.00 from Autozone, same make SKF, the SKF one from BMW is just in a plain white box, while the other one is in a red and blue box with "SKF" and a picture of a bearing on it.
