The E60 with its 17's on, and hydraulic power steering is epic.
It is SOOO damm direct, it makes for a brilliantly handled car.
The F10 on the other hand I have problems with
The IAS and all the gimmicks means the car actually rides a bit too soft for me, it grips like a mofo, but does not handle correctly.
When I got the car, I made them put on 2 new 19" pirelli's at the back.
Now I have a constant flat issue with front left, which means I may have to replace a tyre, or I have a cracked rim. I have had it at superquick.
Now, I have a set of 18 m5 reps I bought from George like 100 years ago.
Strangely enough, I sent them in to have them refurbed about a week ago, just somma....
I am considering dropping down to 18's non RFT, decent tyre like a bridgestone or mitchy, or even the falkens (had them on the m5 and loved them)
I have very little knowledge about this, what would it do to my handling if I had to go slightly smaller wheel non RTF, will it make it a bit harder.
This 7k a tyre thing is an issue, it really is...
Offset on the M5 reps are 18x8.5 with a offset of ET15.
would they fit on the F10.
They have 2 new hankooks on them, should i just add another 2 handkooks or go for maybe 4 falkens...
I drive spiritedly as well
And if I had to sell the 19"s thats currently on there with 2 new pirellli's what could I get for them...
