Hi,
I intend redoing my garage - the walls, fitting ceiling boards, improving lighting and the floors. My question stems around the type of flooring.
The floors
I was considering tiling the floors, which I think will look nice but I'm concerned about it being slippery when wet, and the tiles cracking or sagging.
An alternative is epoxy coating the floors which is similar to what they do in workshops. It gives more of a rubber feel and look to the floors.
Are there any comments on the two options in terms of advantages and disadvantages, and/or what I need to consider in using either one?
The Ceiling
I have no garage windows, and currently have carport sheets from which I get by day light. I was wondering how dark it would be with ceiling boards in. Would I have to switch on the garage lights during the day?
Thanks
