Sooo... On Monday Morning my mom was involved in an accident in PMB. While going through an intersection some ass in a Toyota Fortuner jumped the red light and smashed into her. Thankfully she's okay!
Mom's car in question being a 2000 Mercedes E240... Caught the front drivers side at a quartering angle if that makes sense.
These are the only pics I have. Now it looks to me that Mechanically it didn't take much damage. Engine still on its mounts. Cooling system is intact (Expansion tank is loose, but maybe off a mount) only really the air intake to the filter box which may need replacing.
HOWEVER, with this being a 14 year old car with a book value of around 80k what are the chances of this being a write off?
We're waiting for news from Insurance. They say they'll have an answer by tomorrow...
