Hi Guys
I thought I would share how I changed my output seals on my E46.
1. Get yourself a 3 jaw bearing puller. I got one from Adendorffs for R130. Make a "bridge" (If I can put it that way) that goes over the output shaft. I made mine out of wood.

2. Use a socket and let the puller pull off the shaft.

3. Now to replace the seals. Use the same puller, but swop the teeth around to insert into the diff to pull the seals out.

4. Now to insert the new seals...
Find a piece of pipe to drive the new seals in.

Place a glove over the hole to stop dirt getting into the diff.

Tap around the pipe to drive the new seal in. BE CAREFUL NOT TO DRIVE THE NEW SEAL IN TO FAR.
5. Now change the C clip that locks the shaft onto the diff.

Once that have been changed, get a rubber mallet and give the shaft a good tap. Make sure the shaft is all the way seated and your done
