Hi there, about 1 year ago I changed the front control arm bushes on my 318i E46 2001 model. That went well, however; when I started the car up my ABS light along with the warning indicator in the center of the dash stayed on. I then ran diagnostics which indicated that the front wheel speed sensor was faulty. I cleaned it and checked again with no joy. I then swapped the sensors around hoping the the fault would now show up on the right side. No joy again as the fault remained on the left. i then changed the hub along with the bearing thinking that it could be a communication issue between the bearing and the sensor. That did not work. Then I was told that the sensor are left and right and that they were not interchangeable. This led me to believe that a new sensor would do the trick. No joy again. So am on my last tither with this problem. My breaks are perfect but the Christmas lights on the dash really irritates me. Someone mentioned that it could be the module. I would hate to throw that amount of money to the wind. Anyone out there that can help?
