Hi guys
I searched on local forums for advice but could not find anything relating to the topic. I think it will also help future buyers who are looking for advice when considering a E92 M3.
I was looking to purchase a 335i or Golf 6R but I have decided to rather Purchase an E92 M3. Prefer naturally aspirated over turbo, and a V8 any day. And its a M
I also feel the M will be more reliable in the long term, seeing as turbos are expensive to replace on the Golf R and the 335i. I owned an n54 135i previously and I had lots of problems , so I am staying away from turbo Beemers.
Any advice from current or past owners of E92/E90 M3's would be appreciated.
Looking for major issues that you have experienced. mechanical/electrical.
And things I should be aware of when looking at used M3s, besides service records and comments.
I already know the fuel consumption is terrible and tyres don't last long but that's ok as I wont be doing a lot of Mileage. + - 1000kms a month
Also, I will be buying an M with at least 1 year left on the Motor-plan. Preferably 2 years though.
Thanks in advance
