i picked up my 2006 E90 320i from the mechanic today after changing every suspension bush to polyurethane and installing brand new shocks all round.
to my amazement the car is very very high with about 100mm between the rear tyres and arch. front is about 80mm.
also, what worries me more is that the ride is absolutely bumpy. i feel every little bump on the road even at 50km/h. at speeds of about 100km/h i am literally lifted off my seat.
the new shocks are a Gabriel direct equivalent to the stock shocks. the springs are the original ones. all the poly bushes have a hardness of about 80ShA
please can some experienced fanatic shed some light on what can be done to correct this. i am not sure where to even start looking.
