I recently moved house, a few lights were not working in the house so i called out an electrician they came up with some story that the house is not compliant so i told them to quote me on what is wrong and here is the shock R47 000 to fix what they said was wrong around the house!!!! The biggest laugh is they said it can be done in a day![Argh]( "Argh")
Lucky my Dad is an electrical engineer so he got a hold of the electrician who certified the house to came out and fix what he suppose to fix at no cost to me
Second Rip off
Our geyser was over flowing as in Gushing out hot water, call the Plumber they investigated and told me the geyser is burst cost to Replace is 9K because its a solar geyser, So i said no thanks and sent them away.
While the electricians were checking everything in the house yesterday they found that the thermostat was set to 70 degrees Celsius they turned it down and walaa no issues with geyser
I cannot believe how people can try and Rip you off for money and I hope these companies burn down to the ground
