hi guys, been a while since i've been on but a question or a general statement that maybe someone can shed some light on. issue: we know our fuel and diesel is rubbish and hence why all 'd' motor's are detuned slightly from BMW - protection from the 500ppm stuff.
Question is, if car is out of plan would BMW not be able to revert the software to 'original Euro' settings if one is always using 50ppm (and Sasol at 10ppm i'm told)?? it should allow a decent increase in performance/economy and/or increase in service distances - in Europe the oil change is longer than petrol models..!
