New found Power

Hi all,

After my 335i deal failed, I didn't know how to feel and I decided maybe I should just go ahead and ask for some performance from my little 2.0L Turbo diesel.

As some of you may know, Rolf did a file for my car ages ago....(actually years ago ) then I hooked up with Gareth to load the file yesterday. He rocked up at 10:30am then we took it for a spin and I immediately felt the difference, the car felt responsive and it looks like the power is just readily available. Upon returning to the office, I was itching to drive the car, and decided to take half day's leave and just drive.

I left Bryanston, headed out to Midrand, then down the N1 where I had the company of the new S4 behind me. Since there was a little bit of traffic, I enjoyed slotting into the gaps . Once we had clear road ahead we floored and my oh my the little 2.0L turbo diesel just pulled and pulled ....putting a huge smile on my face

I drove in traffic, drove on an open road, drove at night, drove the car really hard, drove it like a granny and all I can say is

I really don't know why BMW didn't just release these cars with this power. The responsiveness of the throttle the power band this feels like a different car.

I'm gonna let it run in and enjoy just enjoy it.
