Advice needed

Hello fellow fanatics,

So a few weeks ago my sisters Hyundai i20 was written off due to a drunk driver skipping a red robot. He was so drunk that he pissed in his pants and fell asleep in the car after the accident . At least my sister is okay





Now I have to help find her a new car, the options I have come up with so far are the new Renault Clio 4, Kia Rio or a e87 120d or 120i. She will be finishing her veterinary degree in the next 2 years and will probably go to the UK for a bit afterwards and we will sell the car.

So this is where I need input from you guys, the max money to spend is R180 000, what would be a better option?. And how is the 120i in terms of power compared to the 120d?
