Hi all, i am urgently looking for body parts for my 2009 e90 325i sport.

Parts needed:
Drivers side mirror the whole unit, brackets ect.
Right side chrome kidney grill for front bumper.
One PDC sensor for rear bumper.

Any help is much appreciated!

Morning gents,

So last night started my car at the gym and got a strong smell coming from the vents (similar to a burning clutch/plastic type deal) - didn't think much of it, thought it might be the car next to me that was idling.

This morning I started the car again and did it's morning idle before driving it, realised the idle was a bit rougher than normal, there seems to be a slight left-right rocking while idling, and the smell appears to have followed me home Sad

No lights or leaks or anything - any ideas?

e46 325i Auto.

Hi Guys.

I need to trade my 4.0 V6 double cab in for something more sensible (fuel wise). I have seen a 2004 325i Manual with 158 000 km on the clock for R89 000, but would prefer an Auto 325i.

What do I need to look out for? Going to use it as a daily driver for at least another 80 000 km's so I would not want to spend a lot on issues popping out. Also, what would you deem as maximum km's to buy at?

e92 M3 exhaust

Howzit guys, I currently have a catless xflow xpipe mated to ac Schnitzer rear boxes.. The xpipe had 2 resonators that I removed so now basically straight pipe, exhaust sounded demonic and perfect.. Strange thing is the car has gotten a lot quieter, especially on idle, it almost idles like a stock M3 wouldThumbdown

This after around 1000kms of driving, just doesn't sound the same anymore, have checked for leaks etc and spent a lot of time googling to no reward. All I can think of is ecu adaptation maybe? But I don't like the quietness...

How do I fix? I need that sound back...Fencelook

2 x 1994 E36 M3 resto/mod thread

Hi Fanatics

I posted that I'm loving a1exander's restore and build thread (awesome work he is doing. http://www.bmwfanatics.co.za/showthread.php?tid=58768, and that we have done one as well, was quickly told that pics are a prerequisite [WINKING FACE]. I guess it's only fair that I share some of the blood sweat and tears that went into E36 M3 no.1 and currently going into E36 M3 no.2

M3 no.1 was bought for my cousin as a Christmas gift, the seller/owner promised that she was in good condition and not a lot needed to be done.
Now I'm not the most mechanical, handy man sort of guy. The seller had a lot of paperwork on the car that he had spent money on.
On seeing the car it looked ok, not great but ok, since I had flowed down the DBN to see the car, I didn't feel like going back empty handed, so we struck a deal, little did I know that the Christmas gift would be a work in progress gift for a month.
A month meant that he would get the car just after Christmas, but, BIG BUT, we needed it to be perfect.
My cousin thought I purchased it for me. And visited the workshop regularly to see the progress and was wondering why Bruce and team worked till all hours of the morning trying to get her perfect. Little did he know....

E36 M3 no.2 was for meeeee.
In my late teens and early twenties I watched and adored them flying by. Promised myself one day I would own one.
Saying that I've owned an E46 M3 Cab, 997 Carrera's, a few E30's (ps looking for a clean one now 325is [WINKING FACE]) E39's 540i's and currently have a mint E39 M5, and have owned quite a few other cars

I started the thread on another site not knowing about Fanatics.co.za.
After reading the site/forum for about two months now. I have finally found a SA site that love life and cars as much as I do.

E46 Coolant Light

Hi Guys

I have a 2004 E46 318i F/l N46 version. There are a few niggly issues.
The coolant light keeps coming on. I have replaced the following:
Radiator, Hoses, Thermostat, Waterpump, and yesterday, the Expansion tank.
The light does not come on when car is idling from cold. It only comes on when I drive.
I waited for car to cool down to check if Water is short, however when I tried opening the cap, the water wanted to come out of the bottle. There was a Gurgling sound, much like there when dring the last drop of milkshake through a straw.
Any suggestions to fix this?

Hi Guys

E46, 2004, 318i F/L.
I recently replaced my Heater control valve about 12 months ago, as it was onluy blowing hot air.
Now I find my Heater is not working.
Any suggestions?

boot wont open

Hi, My boot wont open with boot unlock button or the remote facility on key. It only unlocks with the key. Was working fine and then just suddenly stopped, What could it be? Fencelook

Taking delivery of my first BM this week Rollsmile

E90 320d M in Black

Super stoked.

Gonna black out the Grill and do the mags black firstly .

The guys that have blacked their Grill out, did you paint or Plastiwrap it?

Any other little mods that are inexpensive and easy to do?

One of you has the Carbon boot spoiler, where did you buy it?
