I finally got around to slapping the 330i onto a dyno for the first time (having had it for nearly a year), and while looking for comparative dyno threads, it seems the forum has precious little results to show.
So I figured, let's all pool our dyno results together so everyone can have benchmarks conveniently at hand, and once we have a good few dyno's, we can create an Excel spreadsheet and divide it into N/A, forced induction and Diesel sections.
I'd suggest the following template:
Car:
Engine:
Mileage:
Mods:
Dyno location & type:
Sea level or Highveld altitude:
Peak numbers: (Remember, kW to hp conversion is 0.745)
[Graph]
I'll start
Car: 2004 E46 330i M-sport
Engine: M54B30
Mileage: 271 700 km
Mods: 328i catless headers, secondary decat with resonator boxes, aftermarket backbox, additional air-feed into stock airbox with pipe routed to brake duct, AFE intake scoop behind kidney grille.
Dyno location & type: FR & R, Centurion -- HyperPower dyno
Sea level or Highveld altitude: Highveld Altitude
Peak numbers: 182 whp (135 wkW) & 247 Nm
Will update later with the graph - need to scan it when I get home.
