the result of sheer arrogance.
I'm referring to the horrific accident on the R40 at White River where more than 10 people died and several others seriously injured.
I'm saying that I guess it was a result of arrogance, because I saw a new "driving technique" has emerged on this stretch of road between White River and Hazyview. This "technique" which I have seen personally while using the road, is that drivers overtake other vehicles, especially heavy vehicles in the face of oncoming traffic, and then flashing their lights at the oncoming traffic to get out of the way for them to pass.
I do not know if you would agree with me, but this game of "chicken" being played is a recipe for disaster, as we have already seen, one of the results was this horrific accident.
