When things are to good to be true, they normally are not.
I would like some feedback if any is available.
I had to replace 4 tyres on an Audi A3. One of the sales people at the tyre dealer convinced me that they have a cheaper alternative than the Contis I normally fit and convinced me that they had no negative feedback on these tyres. The tyres are made in China. Two years down the line, +/- 23000 km, these tyres are now worn beyond salvage with flat spots etc. Most of the distance was done as long distance trips.
My daughter is driving the car and she is no boy racer. I have reviewed from time to time driving practice through tracking system, and have not noticed abuse.
This is a case of cheap being expensive and cheap being "dangerous"
The dealer were quite helpful this morning and again stated that they have not had similar complaints.
