BMW vs the world

So, took a drive to Durban on Saturday afternoon and almost got into a road rage incident on the N3 with some Mercedes C180 prick. Wife had to calm me down.

I was travelling at 129kph (CC) when I came behind this [moderated] who moved over and let me pass. Then a few minutes later he comes flying behind me and passes on the right (I had moved to the left after passing him initially), so nothing wrong so far. He then proceeds to move to the left lane, where I am still doing 129kph on cruise control. He slows down forcing me to overtake him a few seconds later. I make nothing of it but the same thing occurs two more times and I lose my cool. Tell him to stop [moderated] with me and he then goes berserk threatening me. Wife asks me to ignore him so I slow down and let him pass.

Later on I come up behind another C180 who, every time I try to pass simply accelerates. Ignored this prick and eventually passed him when he decided to grow up.

I then get to van Reenen's pass and there's now a fortuner doing exactly what the first C180 was doing. Decide to slow down drastically to let him disappear.

Now my question is...why do people feel the need to drive this way? In all these incidents I was using cruise control and did nothing wrong to these [moderated]. It's always slower cars as well. Never had someone in a C63 for example, do that to me.

I won't even mention all the inconsiderate drivers out there, including a maroon 135i approaching van Reenen this afternoon cruising on the right lane at 80kph in a 120 zone. Now don't get me wrong, I don't mind overtaking on the left but I think it can be dangerous.

*Moderated profanity*
