Hi All,

I'm looking for a copy of "Road map South Africa Professional" DVD. Any year version will do. My copy "mysteriously" disappeared when it went into for a service at BMW Thumbdown. Barely use the NAV, just hate the error message that keeps popping up....

Please don't refer me to old post unless you can confirm that it is still valid / files are still uploaded. I've combed through the post and PM'ed various of the posters with no success.

Any help will be appreciated.

I am in the market to get a tuning add on.

The question is which one:
-COBB Accessport V3 (like the handheld, but seems very pricey)
-JB4 (Price looks very attrractive, just seems alot of PT)
-RacePRO Ultimate (Seems very overprice for what you get)
-ChipBOX (Well price)

Launch Control - HOW!!???

So I traded my 320d for a F30 330d (28 Nov 2013 build) and while browsing through the manual I saw "Launch Control", which got me all excited as I have the Sport Auto gearbox with paddles and all.

I've tried it twice, following the procedure in the manual, without success. I just end up in a ball of smoke, fishtailing all over the place. (which is fun also)

I did the following: (after driving 10+ km to make sure everything is at operating temperature)

1. Brought the car to a complete stop
2. Switch to Sport+
3. Transmission to S
4. Hard down on the brakes
5. Hard down on the accelerator, past max, into kick-down.

No flag, no nothing. Just a lot of power trying to get loose and ruin my tyres. Bluebiggrin

So what am I doing wrong here?

Hi Guys ,

I have a BMW E30 318i (m10 ) coupe that Im building up .Got the car with a bent valves .Seems like the rocker arm broke .I have been doing research and can see that the rocker arms are one of the weak links on this car .

So where is the best place in SA to get hardened or steel rocker arms for this motor (318i 4cyl)

Hi Guys ,

I have a 85 BMW E30 318i coupe that I'm planing on building up for track days and Gymkhanas .I got it with a broken rocker .

So the plan is to pull the motor out and do a full turbo rebuild .

Gear knob for Z3

Hi out there . I am looking for a new gear knob for my Z3. Old one has disintegrated. Any idea where i could get one. The dealers do not have the original but can offer me the M spec but at quite a price. Also would not mind a slightly smaller steering wheel.Ty Any suggestions.

Hi guys

Need a little help.
Can anyone tell me if I have a welded or bolted diff please.

2007 E92 335i manual. Vin WBAWB 72070 PW81000

The Part number for the replacement I got from BMW is 33107571187
I heard that cars from 03/2007 have welded diffs. Not to sure what month my car was manufactured.

Recommended Paintless Dent Removal Places Cape Town

Hi Guys

Im in need of some advice and recommendations...

Unfortunately somebody decided to leave a small dent on my left front fender Argh ...... needless to say if I had caught them in the act, they would have a nasty dent of their own on their face ....

So basically I would like any and all advice on who is the best in Cape Town with regards to the Paintless Dent Removal... Im thinking Dent xpress by N1 city?

I dont want to take my car to just anybody, my bmw is my pride and joy as many of you im sure are the same with your vehicles.


All advice and info will be greatly appreciated...
