Rear trailing arm bush - E90 330i

Hi guys.

Since fitting 19's on my car (E90 330i), the back tyres have really bad uneven wear from the inside. Got under 3000kms on a set of back tyres that were almost brand new. Used to get at least 40 000kms on the 17's.

I have spoken to a few people and the suggestion is that I need to have the rear trailing arm bushes replaced.

My question is - have any of you guys done this? And, did it help with the uneven wear on the tyres?

let me know.

Vicky

Hi guys,

So this past Saturday afternoon I had a little accident with a girl who drove into the back of me.

I had stopped to let an emergency vehicle (with blearries and cherries going) get through the traffic on his way to another accident, when the girl drove into the back of me doing 60. I barely felt anything, so when I pulled off to the side of the road I was surprised to see the damage to the other car.

None of us were hurt thankfully.

Disapointed: Test drove this M3 today

Hi all,

I am rather disappointed. I test drove this 06 E46 M3 today with 100000 km's on the clock and it felt so pap. My 330i feels like it pulls way harder.

It is a vert and I know they are a little heavier but surely an E46 M3 isnt THAT slow. Sounded great but maybe a 7 second 0-100 if anything.

I wouldnt buy a vert, i just thought since I have some time Im going to start looking to see what is out there in terms of E46 M3's.

Maybe some knowledgable guys can give some info on what could be a reason for this thing feeling so pap? Vanos perhaps?

Good Day Guys and Girls. I was having a conversation with a colleague now and we were just talking about work and if this is what we really wanted to do when we went to school. For me I have always wanted to work with cars but I ended up studying IT and I'm still in a different job stream than what I had studied for.Yuck Are you happy with your current job and if not which field did u initially want to work in?

I would still kill to work in a car related field.Praise What about you?

In the true spirit of automotive enthusiasm, BMWFanatics held an event which members could put their car onto the all important rollers and measure just how many Gigawatts of power their Deloreans were putting down. In true BMW fashion, their was a great turnout, and some fantastic cars to look at even though some didn’t want to let the world know just-yet what tarmac tearing abilities their cars had. A good day out, a great mash up of enthusiasts and memories that will live on with us. Enjoy the pics and the vids!

BMW Power.

new bushes and shocks needed.

good day gentleman and ladies.

so my E36 328i is not really handling that well. the back end of the vehicle wants to overtake me on every bump i hit while cornering. comfort is horrid and my suspension needs major work.

i have decided to redo my whole suspension as the guy who i had bought the car from the said everything was "fine" but everything is far from it. bushes are cracked, shocks feel as they are hitting something when i go over a hard bump so out it goes.

on the bushes side i have been thinking about powerflex bushes from front to back as thats what i need. but have any guys had experience with whiteline or meyle and powerflex?

on the shocks side i have been looking at st techniques and eibach pro street s. i dont really need dampening though it would be nice but my car is going to be a daily driver so i dont think i would need it. am i wrong in thinking that?

the main reason for this is i want a nice ride height done the proper way without my scraping the road. i do want comfort as i carry my family in the car but i also want some stiffness to have some sidways action on the weekend.

would these bushes and coilovers get me the desired results or should i be looking at something else?

any help is greatly appreciated.

max mods on stock ecu

good day gentleman and ladies.

i have a question for those who know more than me about the standard ecu.

i have a 1996 328i. as much as i want power im a oem guy at heart so adding turbo setups etc is just a major no no.

so my question is what is the maximum i can do to my car without doing a piggy back or stand alone as the most important part to me is that my obc says "check ok". i have seen a couple e36 that have had either gotech added or something similiar and they lose the obc functionality.

any assistance as to what i can do to my car but not add any sort of management will be greatly appreciated.

How does this work?
